Market Stand and Baking Schedule

WE ARE CURRENTLY OPEN THURSDAY TO MONDAY.

Northend Market Stand is open year around and might be the biggest “honor system” stand you will ever see. Open 10-5, and set in the pastoral settings of the farm itself, one may discover fresh eggs, bread, vegetables, fruit, berries, pies, frozen cuts and whole chickens, (all somewhat seasonally dependent) and more from right there on the farm. Also at the stand are a handful of other quality local products from some of our Salt Spring neighbors. 2521 Northend Rd.

Stop long enough to grab what you need for dinner, or pause to visit the friendly barn cats, or rabbits, or horses. You may even see an actual farm worker (they’re pretty friendly too), bringing your dinner into the stand straight from the field, or bakery. It’s really that fresh, because you really are on a working farm, not just a rustic storefront. So drive slow, keep your eyes open, and don’t miss a thing.

    Do your wonderful pies and bread have soy in them. I have a granddaughter who is allergic to soy.

      Upon further checking, the pan spray for the loaf pans has soy lecithin. Also, one of the flours in the original multigrain does not state soy as an ingredient, but their website says there could be contact with soy. Thank you so much for asking.

    Hello. I wanted to see if you are providing bread still and if it is now 7 days a week. Also do you think you may do CSA boxes?

      HI, bread Thursday through Monday. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be doing a CSA box, just not exactly sure what it will look like this year. It won’t start till May
